Barrus Logistics offers flexible and alternative transportation solutions in light of the coronavirus (COVID-19) growth
Despite the fact that the consequences of coronavirus are increasing and becoming global, Chinese ocean line offices are announcing the resumption of their work.
As of February 28, the complete list of Chinese cities in which, after a long break, ocean line offices with personnel who are now available at their workplaces are opened, is presented below and may change:
|Region/Office Location||Updated Office Status|
|Wuhan||Suspended until further notice|
|Xiamen / Fuzhou||Office Open|
|Hong Kong||Office Open|
New bookings to (from) all ports (s) of Hubei (including Wuhan) are still not being accepted until further notice due to local quarantine restrictions.
The number of sea voyages canceled by ocean lines from China to other countries of the world is increasing. Although ocean lines try to provide additional equipment and develop alternative routes in order to continue weekly export services of FCL and LCL around the world with minimal interruptions, over the next few months problems are expected in the ports of Europe and America with the availability of equipment for export.
We continue to monitor the consequences of this unique situation and will update the information in a timely manner.
In the meantime our team will be happy to offer an individual solution for your transportation needs, taking into account the effects of the coronavirus.
